Igroprom 2026. Zaychik. Victory!!!

Hey everyone! So, at the recent "Igroprom 2026," our game won an award in the "Best Game Reading" category. For a visual novel, this is quite a serious achievement. The genre is often perceived as a "picture book" or "not quite a game." There's no combat, no open world, no leveling up. The only thing it has is the story. And the way we tell it. So when a visual novel gets recognized specifically for its narrative, it becomes clear that telling a story is also an art. The event took place at the Moscow Video Game and Animation Cluster in Skolkovo. The space itself sets the right mood — it was created for those who make games, and being there with your own project was a separate pleasure. Seeing "Zaychik" among other indie projects, knowing that it's being read, discussed, and evaluated — that's very gratifying. "Best Game Reading" is a good phrasing, of course. But let's be honest: in the

Progress report: Rebuild Episode 2 is complete! Hello, everyone!

I'm super excited to announce that we've reached another milestone when it comes to the Rebuild of the game. Episode 2 is complete! It was a monumental task, but thanks to everyone's support, we're ready to immediately delve into rebuilding Episode 3! Well, here's the promised progress report: Firstly, we updated the story. I'll be honest, I'm super thrilled about the changes we've made to the game's scenario. Our new writer poured her heart into making the story better: Episode 2 will now feature completely new scenes with Semyon and Katya. All of the characters are now even more believable, and the event logic is now more complex but at the same time much more... logical. Secondly, we updated the visuals. We've added new unique CGs and gave the UI a makeover. Save icons now have a more authentic look and fit better into the game's overall design. Thirdly, we've made gameplay changes. W

Update! Ending Gallery

Hello, my dear ones! I know the remake isn't moving quickly. I know you're waiting. And the fact that you're still with me and with "Tiny Bunny" means more to me than words can say. I'm not giving up — I'm just working on it. But I can't wait to share with you what's already made it into the current version of the game. Yes, the update is modest, but quite useful: Changes: [*] Polished the flowchart. [/*][*] Cosmetic fixes - it's gotten a bit leaner. [/*][*] The mysterious "one minute please" text is gone. Those who saw it will understand. Those who didn't - well, you missed it. It's no longer there. Thank you to the attentive players who noticed! [/*] And most importantly - the "Ending Gallery"! This is a new feature for our game. Now you can not only experience different paths but also collect endings in one place. Look back at your choices - maybe you haven't unlocked everything yet.

Minor update!

To make the game more convenient for our players, we've made some changes: • A flowchart has been added. Now, after each episode, you can track your actions and adjust your walkthrough strategy. (For now, the flowchart feature is only available in Russian, but we are already working on the translation and will add the other languages shortly.) • Added the option to skip the "Collect the Poster at Polina's Place" mini-game. • Fixed plot and logic errors in Episode 5: 1. The Owl now survives (crawls away). 2. Added information about what happened to Olya when Anton is taken away for his crime. Thank you for your support, and enjoy the game!

Progress Report: Episode 1

Hello, everyone! Once again, It's time to share the progress we've made on the game's enhanced version. We've implemented all of the fixes for Episode 1 with our new writer, and we're moving on the the next episode. What's new: Fixes in the timeline logic. Now you won't be able to miss the early Forest Master lore no matter how you play through episode 1. New scenes and dialogue lines added. New artwork added. New interactive items with bits of updated lore attached to them. Small text and direction fixes. As I've mentioned before, this is only the beginning of our work. The higher the number on the episode count, the bigger the list with fixes and improvements will get. Episode 5 will go through a complete rework, from the ground up. This time, we won't be implementing the fixes for the episodes separately since we want you to be able to experience the enhanced version of the game from

The most important update!

Hello everyone, Saikono here. I spent December of last year, January, and the first week of February of 2026 reading your comments. A lot of comments. Around six thousand of them, including comments under social media posts, podcasts, videos, and all the other possible platforms. I've been thinking. Hard. As a result, I realized that my vision for improving the game was far from perfect. The changes I originally envisioned were mere half-measures that didn't address the desires of our loyal fans, people who put their trust in us and in our project. That's why I made a harsh but, in my opinion, the only right decision in these circumstances. We'll be doing a soft reboot of the game. Not a patch, not a DLC, not something limited to cosmetic changes — we'll be making fundamental changes. Those changes will include: 1. Reworked lore (inside the already set canon). We'll be going back to our

Flowchart feature development for Tiny Bunny!

Hey there, our tiny bunnies! The development of the enhanced version of the game is fully underway and so we are starting a series of posts where we will introduce the changes to you, one by one. Today we're going to talk about one of the key new QoL features that we are currently testing right now, the Flowchart system! Why implement it? We want you to have the ability to not only experience a wide range of emotions after completing the game, but also to have a clear picture on how your decisions affected the final outcome, and which hidden scenes or choices you might have missed, as well as the ability to jump back and replay the game from a certain spot. For now we're testing this feature for Episode 1 while doing our best to make the chart easy to navigate and read. You can have an early look on how all of that will work in the attached video. As always, we value your feedback so ple

Important news on the game's development!

Hello, community! Here's the latest from the front lines! We continue to carefully study your feedback and see that the community is divided: some are asking for changes, while others love things as they are. We've taken your heated discussions not as a problem, but as the most valuable feedback. Thank you! We hear every side! The following decision has been made: [*] We will create an updated version of the game with refined art, story, and gameplay. [/*][*] The original "director's cut" version will remain available in the settings. For those who want to keep everything as is—nothing will change, and you can switch back at any time. [/*] What awaits you in future updates? • New Art: Work is in progress! For a preview, check out the updated version of Olga by Saikono. • Refined Story: Work is underway. • Gameplay Polish: Improvements for a smoother, more comfortable experience. We want

What are we busy with right now?

There are moments in everyone's life... when you just want the game to get better and better!!! But seriously, we're not just sitting on our paws! Your bug reports and suggestions don't just vanish into thin air. Right now, the word master, Evgeny Sokarev, is already considering your feedback and making plans to improve the storyline. It's going to get even more interesting! What's already done: Yesterday's Patch: We delivered and fixed a bunch of text errors you found. Thank you for your sharp eyes! What we're working on right now: Daniil Zaizulin, our programmer, while waiting for the updated script, is busy "bolting on" achievements for VK Play. And I, the picture master, have already started working on the graphics. Here's how I redrew the image of Anton as an adult. Just please, don't expect miracles from the first iteration. We're just workers doing what we can, with what we have.

Open letter from Team Saikono

Hello there. First of all , we want to sincerely apologize to all of our dedicated fans. The game's final episode clearly didn't meet your expectations, and, to be honest, wasn't up to our usual standard of quality. We let you down and there's no escaping that fact. Thank you for showing your love toward the game through such a vivid response and a lot of detailed criticism. We read all your feedback and do our best to hear every perspective out there. Our priority right now is to analyze the issues with the game's final episode. We're currently working on a list of the most common issues that were brought up by the community in the Steam reviews and discussion on social media. We're already hard at work fixing some graphical issues as well as inconsistencies in the game's overall story line. We would welcome any help you could provide to that end: We don't want to miss anything, and we
